What it actually costs, per hour
$125 an hour on Part-time and Standard. The two are priced identically because they are the same thing at different speeds — we'd rather you chose the pace you can genuinely sustain than the one that looked like a bargain.
Intensive works out at $108 an hour. That's the one discount we offer, and it isn't generosity: a heavier weekly commitment is easier for us to schedule around and cheaper for us to deliver, so we pass that on rather than pocket it.
So your total is your pace multiplied by your length. Four months on Standard is $4,000; twelve months is $12,000. We'll give you an honest estimate of your likely length on the call, before you pay anything — and we'd rather revise it as we go than defend a number we invented at the start.
About the money
Why monthly rather than one programme fee?
Because tracks vary from four months to twelve, and charging one large fee up front would mean guessing your length and then defending that guess. Monthly means you pay for what you use, and you can stop if life changes.
Can I pause?
Yes. People have babies, change jobs and get ill. Tell us, pause your billing, and pick it back up. Your plan and your notes will be waiting.
Is the résumé and recruiter support extra?
No. It's included at the end of every track. It's step four and five of the path, not an upsell.
Do you guarantee a job?
No, and be careful of anyone who does. We introduce you to recruiters in our network and we make sure you're genuinely ready before we do. Hiring decisions belong to employers — they turn on the market, on timing, and on you.
How does this compare to a bootcamp?
On total cost we're in similar territory, and at the longer end we can be more. What differs is what the money buys. A bootcamp divides one instructor across a cohort of thirty on a fixed twelve-week schedule. Here, every hour you pay for is an hour of one senior engineer's attention on you alone, at a pace you set, for as long as you actually need rather than a length decided before we met you.
If what you want is the cheapest route to a certificate, this isn't it, and we'd rather say so here than on the call.
Is HST added to these prices?
Adult technical training is taxable in Canada, but a business isn't required to register for HST until it passes $30,000 in revenue over four consecutive quarters. We'll tell you exactly where we stand on that before you pay anything.
Either way, the figure you're quoted on the call is the figure you pay. If HST applies it appears as its own line on your invoice — it is never added quietly to a price we already gave you.
